Refuting reports that the actor quit from the magnificent director Shankar’s remake of ‘3 idiots’ due to alleged disputes on hairdos and costumes, Vijay stated that he quit due to call sheet issues and nothing else.
The actor also said that he had a huge respect for Director Shankar but couldn’t act in his movie since he could not give away his call sheet.
Vijay also said that he would not care much about Media’s predictions and it is the official announcement from the producers that would be ultimately true.
Vijay’s Kaavalan is scheduled to hit the theaters on December 17, 2010 for which there is strong opposition from the Distributors and Theater Owners who want to square up with the actor when the time is ripe.
Distributor Shakthi Chidambaram has vowed to release Kaavalan on December 17 despite all hindrances.
